The Power Loft design redefines high-density data center standards – allowing users to scale to 300 watts per square foot with industry leading efficiencies of power and raised floor space.

High Density Scalability
Power Loft data centers are unique in their ability to physically scale in modular increments of 50,000 raised square feet, and in power increments from 100 to over 300 watts per raised square foot. More importantly, power increases are implemented with no attrition to the original raised floor area. |

Flexible Power Backbone
Each Power Loft building is designed with a highly flexible power transmission infrastructure that accommodates the broadest spectrum of legacy and new generation IT equipment. Power Loft has rights to proprietary Validus DC power conversion equipment that optimizes the use of energy efficient DC servers on a larger scale than possible to date, while reducing power consumption by up to 30%.

Truly Green Design
All of our buildings will be LEED Certified. Our green roof and greenScreen exterior minimize impact on the local watershed and insulate the building from fluctuations in outside temperatures. Our design efficiencies allow for increased computing capacity while using 30% less electricity.
To put this in perspective, our facility in Manassas, VA will create an annual environmental savings equivalent to 270,000 barrels of oil or 571 railroad cars of coal, which is enough electricity to power over 12,000 homes for one year. |

High Security
All Power Loft data centers are designed in compliance with government rated design guidelines - 150' separation from public access - and are bermed, fenced, and gated with rollup vehicle barriers, CCTV and 24x7 security. |
